What You Will Do

Manage all construction activities across transmission, substation, and distribution projects, including budget, schedule, contract adherence, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations. Develop and manage construction teams, including internal staff and external contractors, ensuring adequate staffing and performance oversight.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Applied Science, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience
  • 10-15 years of construction, maintenance, or related experience (transmission/substation preferred)
  • Construction Manager (qualified to request/hold transmission and distribution clearances)
  • Deep knowledge of transmission, substation, and distribution construction practices
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations, environmental compliance, and construction quality assurance
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with Project Managers, Engineering, Scheduling, Procurement, Legal, and field operations
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Proficiency in construction documentation, scheduling, and cost control
