Role Overview

The Construction Manager will oversee all construction field-related activities to ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met. This includes establishing construction scheduling, field policies, and procedures, and ensuring the overall community job sites for safety and appearance.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include recruiting and training field personnel, scheduling and directing tasks, managing and supervising construction activities, ensuring safety standards, and overseeing field operations and quality control.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Ten years related experience and/or training
  • Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret construction documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules
  • General knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations and building codes
  • Ability to converse with customers, all levels of management and personnel
  • Superb interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to control cost overruns and manage a budget
  • Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
