Role Overview

The Construction Manager will be responsible for construction oversight of the Company's planned capital and developer projects. The Construction Manager will support the Project Management Office to ensure that projects are built as per plans and specifications.

What You Will Do

The Construction Manager will be responsible for understanding the Local, OHSA and Nexus safety requirements and enforcing a safe work environment. They will also review and manage complex construction contracts, assist with project estimating and project budget development, and work with the project team to gather and analyze technical data.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of ten years of progressive construction experience in the water industry, with two years of experience leading teams. They will also have a working knowledge of public works projects and water collection, distribution, and treatment systems.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of ten years of progressive construction experience in the water industry
  • Two years of experience leading teams
  • Working knowledge of public works projects and water collection, distribution, and treatment systems
  • Class C or better for Water Treatment and/or Wastewater Treatment and/or collection and/or Wastewater Collection
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Preferred
  • Ability to perform water industry routine engineering practices and supervise personnel as assigned
