Role OverviewKleinfelder's Construction Services team is looking for Field Construction Materials Testing Technician Level I/II to join our Northern California Team. What You Will Do
The Construction Materials Testing Technician Level I/II will be responsible for inspection and testing services to our diverse client base on projects throughout California. This position requires the ability to work outside in variable weather at field sites and in labs with various levels of safety protection required.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate for this role should meet all of the criteria of the Technician I plus 1-3 years of construction materials testing experience, and at least four field-oriented Certifications (Caltrans, ACI, NICET).
Requirements
- Bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds (22.68 kg) repetitively and over 50 pounds (22.68 kg) using handling equipment (hand truck, etc.).
- Operate heavy equipment as necessary (i.e., ultrasonic non-destructive testing machine, concrete cylinder press, etc.).
- Maintain safe mobility over construction obstacles by foot and ladder, traversing over rough broken ground and steep surfaces.
- Work outside in variable weather at field sites and in labs with various levels of safety protection required.
- Travel throughout Northern California will be required.
