Job Description
HDR is seeking a Construction Project Architect to be the onsite technical expert in Bethesda, MD. The Construction Project Architect will assist to resolve problems, conduct QA/QC reviews, and perform other duties as needed. The role requires a minimum of 5 years experience, a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, and registration as an Architect. Preferred qualifications include 15 years of experience, healthcare experience, and experience with Federal/DOD projects.

Requirements

  • Represent a multidiscipline architectural engineering team during construction projects
  • Negotiate, interpret documents and be a team player
  • Conduct meetings with clients, contractors and our project representatives
  • Conduct project observations to determine the progress of the work and general compliance with contract documents
  • Coordinate and assist with providing clarification and enforcement of construction documents
  • Obtain, process, document and maintain records relevant to a project
  • Demonstrate knowledge while performing QA/QC reviews
  • Perform other duties as needed
