Role Overview

The Construction Project Engineer III is a technical leader responsible for executing the full lifecycle of nuclear facility construction projects. This role will bridge the gap between process / mechanical design and physical construction, working with project managers, multidisciplinary teams, superintendents, schedules, budgets, and compliance with strict regulatory safety standards.

What You Will Do

Interpret design drawings and specifications, translate engineering deliverables into actionable Construction Work Packages (CWPs) for field personnel. Ensure all field activities strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) guidelines, regulatory codes, and quality assurance plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Engineering, Civil, Mechanical, Nuclear, or Chemical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in heavy construction or nuclear engineering
  • Experience in mechanical equipment installation, process systems, piping, HVAC in industrial or nuclear environments
  • Deep familiarity with nuclear facility requirements beneficial
  • Understanding of ASME B31.1, ASME Section III, and mechanical code requirements
  • Strong communication, risk management, and the ability to interpret complex engineering plans and specifications
