Job Description
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our team supporting the Los Alamos National Laboratory. The position is full-time and will be based out of Los Alamos, New Mexico. Responsibilities include project planning, budgeting, managing, and controlling cost and schedule performance for a project or subproject.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or scientific discipline, or specialized courses in project management
  • Ten years work experience (5+ years experience in at least one of the following functions: engineering, procurement and construction)
  • Proven leadership and management skills to organize, direct, and control a team of workers
  • Advanced experience managing construction projects including scope, schedule, and budget control
  • Experience using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Demonstrated experience identifying project risks and developing mitigation strategies and corrective actions
  • Advanced knowledge of all phases and complexity levels of construction projects, upgrades, renovations, and D&D (Decontamination and Decommissioning)
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in facility maintenance and/or construction management
  • Clearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed
