Job Description
The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY) is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to manage construction projects. The successful candidate will have a valid New York State Professional Engineer’s License and 4 years of experience in civil engineering work.

Requirements

  • Maintain a management information system
  • Visit job sites and prepare preliminary scope of work
  • Coordinate activities between agencies and departments
  • Review schedules, reports, and orders
  • Resolve problems with schedules and costs
  • Work with Director of Construction and Design on procurement cycle
