Role Overview

The incumbent provides professional architectural services for the Division of Facilities Management and Building Construction by serving as a Projects Manager over Fixed Capital Outlay (FCO) construction projects from inception of planning and design through completion of construction and classified as projects of high complexity or specialize project delivering methods.

What You Will Do

Assist in the preparation, review, evaluation, and recommendation of Fixed Capital Outlay requests submitted by other State agencies. Participate in the selection of qualified professional firms and individuals for service in planning and/or design of assigned projects. Represent the Division at project planning conferences to ensure the project is being developed realistically under existing construction methods and budget limitations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Degree in Architecture or a similar field (such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, etc.)
  • Strong experience standing up and managing new initiatives that require strong communication with both internal team members and management level personnel with sister agencies
  • Ability to travel
