Job Description
Aristeo Construction is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead safety efforts on projects and provide proactive safety solutions. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of safety policies and procedures, excellent data analysis and risk assessment skills, and experience in construction-based health and safety roles.

Requirements

  • Act as the lead safety personnel on projects
  • Provide high-level safety management and offer proactive safety solutions to the project management team
  • Conduct training sessions, presentations, and safety orientations for new hires or subcontractors
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety training programs and policies
  • Responsible for all OSHA correspondence on the project
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Develop the Pre-task Analysis process
  • Effectively manage safety risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practices
  • Experience in a construction-based health and safety role
  • Associate degree in Safety or related field; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • CHST certification required
  • Advanced certification in safety preferred (ASP, CSP, or SMP)
