Job Description
The Consultant, Database IT will be a subject matter expert on the IT Database team responsible for planning and managing solutions leveraging databases in a hybrid cloud and on premises environment.

Requirements

  • Develop strategic goals for production databases, designs and implements policies and procedures to ensure data protection and integrity, plans for sufficient capacity and ensures that DBMS software is up-to-date.
  • Support Cloud initiatives and propose reliable, secure, and transformative solutions.
  • Resolve database access and performance issues, monitor and optimize database system details, and plan and coordinate data migrations between systems.
  • Determine optimal use of licensing, perform database transaction and security audits, and establish appropriate end-user database access control levels.
  • Identify and implement automation and improved efficiency.
