Job Description
ACRT, Inc is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester with experience in forestry, horticulture, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience. Responsibilities include performing tree identification and evaluation, planning and directing tree clearance crews, and serving as a liaison between clients and tree crews.

Requirements

  • 2 year or 4 year degree in forestry, horticulture, environmental science or closely related field
  • 2 years of experience in Utility Vegetation Management or other related field
  • Vegetation management experience
  • Competent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience working with GIS integrated data collection software/hardware
  • Self-motivated, organized, production oriented
  • Comfortable working in an independent environment and managing a geographical area
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Multi-tasking and strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in varied terrain and inclement weather with flexible schedules
  • Valid driver's license required
