Role OverviewThe Content Editor will join our team in JBAB, DC in support of the Defense Resources and Infrastructure Office (DRI). The DRI's mission is to catalog and analyze military and civilian infrastructure and defense-related resources that underpin a nation's or group's military capabilities. The Content Editor will analyze and evaluate products through technical editorial support and ensure administrative and production on requirements associated with military capabilities, capacity, readiness, military policy, strategy, and doctrine are met.
What You Will Do
The Content Editor will read and evaluate intelligence products, confer with authors to recommend treatment of material, perform reorganization, cut, or rewrite as necessary, and edit copy.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience with editing and written document production, intelligence production, and defense tradecraft standards. They will be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI Clearance and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience with editing and written document production
- 3+ years of experience with intelligence production
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI Clearance
