Continuous Improvement Lead - 1st Shift

The Continuous Improvement Lead will drive operational excellence across Morgan Truck Body, partnering with leaders to identify opportunities, eliminate waste, improve safety, increase productivity, and reduce costs. This role will lead Lean initiatives, coach team members, facilitate Kaizen events, and help build a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.

What You Will Do

The Continuous Improvement Lead will lead and drive Lean initiatives, mentor team members, facilitate Kaizen events, and support Lean deployment across multiple Morgan Truck Body facilities. This role will also lead cross-functional improvement projects, conduct assessments, and share best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
• Previous experience leading Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Operational Excellence projects
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Proven leadership experience influencing teams without direct authority
• Excellent coaching, mentoring, and facilitation skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Ability to lead change while building trust and engagement
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience collecting, analyzing, and presenting operational performance metrics
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
