Job Description
Reports to the Plant Manager and oversees the implementation of cost optimization and lean manufacturing fundamentals at the Warren Plant, responsible for creating and implementing a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Leads Warren Plant in lean manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Coordinates with plant support staff to implement total Lean programs, policies, and initiatives.
  • Helps drive improvements in product and process quality, client relationships, and customer service.
  • Develops and maintains DOS systems that improve the overall lean level within the plant.
  • Reports on facility's lean status relative to manufactured and assembled products.
  • Utilizes division lean staff to ensure facility compliance to Dana and customer quality requirements.
