Role OverviewThe Contract Manager administers contracts from solicitation to closeout, ensuring compliance and cohesiveness in departmental operations and the work product. Develops proposals, prepares, evaluates, negotiates, and awards contracts and subcontracts. Coordinates with Melwood customers, subcontractors, vendors, and other departments as appropriate.
What You Will Do
Prepares proposals, maintains contract data, ensures processing of accurate data and timely invoices, administers contracts, and maintains accurate contract status and applicable minimum wage requirement reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, three years of progressively independent Contracts Administration experience, and relevant certification. Proficient Microsoft Office skills and effective oral and written communication, customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills are also required.
