Contract Shortform & Ad Scriptwriter

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a scriptwriter or in a similar creative role
• Proven experience writing for young adult or children’s media
• Ability to write dialogue, edit, and proofread
• Familiarity with Minecraft lore and ability to integrate gaming culture references into storytelling
• Knowledge of Blockbuster mod (not required but ability to learn necessary)
• Understanding of YouTube gaming content trends and platform dynamics
• Passion for gaming, animation, and digital storytelling
• Analytical mindset to apply viewer insights and/or video metrics into increased content engagement
• Ability to manage individual projects independently and collaborate with producers, editors, and creative leads
• Efficient communication and timely follow-up
• Availability to coordinate and communicate during core business hours 9:00am - 5:30pm CT (GMT-6:00)
• Must be at least 18 years old
