Role Overview

The Contracts and Compliance Manager will join the Bureau of Commercial Waste at the New York City Department of Sanitation. The role involves managing contracts, identifying and remediating violations, and collaborating with other units to implement the Commercial Waste Zones program.

What You Will Do

Responsibilities include hiring and overseeing Contracts and Compliance Analysts, managing contracts, identifying and remediating violations, training CWZ awardees and staff, and producing regular summary reports.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in economics, finance, accounting, business, or public administration
  • Two years of satisfactory full-time professional experience in budget administration, accounting, economic or financial administration, or fiscal or economic research
  • Supervision of staff performing professional work in areas such as budget administration, accounting, or personnel relations
