Contracts Director

As a Contracts Director at GDIT, you will guide the strategic direction of a business supporting critical intelligence missions. You will lead a high-performing team of contract professionals within the National Intelligence Sector of the Intelligence and Homeland Security Division, ensuring every contract strengthens mission outcomes and aligns with strategic organizational goals.

What You Will Do

Provide executive oversight of the full contracts administration function, empowering and developing a team of contracts professionals. Accelerate business growth through strategic customer engagement, opportunity shaping, proposal leadership, and complex contract negotiations. Protect mission and business interests by driving due diligence across contractual documents and maintaining a disciplined change-control process. Serve as a trusted strategic partner to internal stakeholders and champion internal compliance with federal regulations.

The likely salary range is $170,000 - $230,000, with comprehensive benefits including 401K with company match and paid time off.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years of Contracts Administration and Leadership experience
• Advanced Knowledge of various contract types, relevant laws, regulations, terms, conditions, and policies governing assigned contracts including the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Intel agency acquisition manuals
• Expert in complex terms and conditions negotiations
• Strong ability to mentor, develop talent, and lead team training initiatives
• Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• US citizenship required
