Job Description
Crusoe is seeking a seasoned Control Room Operator to coordinate all on-shift operations at our power facility. This senior-level role is primarily responsible for the safe operation of all plant equipment across a variety of scenarios, ranging from cold plant startups to emergency operations during plant upsets.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of directly related experience in a power plant environment
  • Deep understanding of health and safety regulations, including working around hazardous energy, chemicals, and waste materials
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with a basic understanding of chemistry, physics, electricity, and mathematics
  • Proven ability to make competent decisions regarding non-routine technical issues and emergency operations
  • Skilled in using PC computers, Microsoft Office products, and specialized plant control software
