Job Description
Senior Controls Engineer provides advanced technical expertise in the deployment, troubleshooting, sustainment, and optimization of lighting control, HVAC, Energy Management System (EMS), and Building Management System (BMS) controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years progressive experience leading automation or BMS systems projects.
  • Advanced experience developing GUIs, dashboards, alarming, data visualization, and DAQ/DAS platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience in UL508A panel design/build for controls systems.
  • Proven record of technical project leadership, process optimization, and mentoring staff.
  • Experience with monitoring electrical power distribution, power metering, PMCS, energy management.
  • Proficiency with SCADA, PLCs, and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus RTU and TCP/IP, BACnet, and Ethernet IP).
  • Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems (medium and low voltage), protective relaying, and load management.
  • Experience with energy management systems (EMS) and utility billing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
