Job Description
Ward Leonard, a Fairbanks Morse Defense Company, is an industry-leading provider of electric motor, generator, control, and service solutions critical to Naval applications. The company is looking for a Controller Assembler II to timely and accurately build sub-assemblies and assemblies to customer specifications involving complex and repetitive wiring and mechanics.

Requirements

  • Assemble complex Controls and Control Cabinets as well as assembly on various product lines and other equipment
  • Assemble components and sub-assemblies, including heater coils
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to build sub-assemblies and assemblies
  • Perform visual inspections of material before and after assembly
  • Use various fixtures, gauges, hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, or repair product
  • Report faulty operation, defective material, and unusual conditions to the leadership team
  • Cross train on all assembly product lines as directed by the management team
  • Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
