Role OverviewWe are seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and financial reporting for our growing construction business. Reporting directly to the Business Unit President, this role is both strategic and operational. You will serve as a key business partner to leadership, oversee day-to-day accounting operations, and help drive financial performance across the organization.
What You Will Do
Partner with the Business Unit President and leadership team to support business strategy and decision-making. Lead monthly close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of construction accounting experience with companies in excess of $50MM in annual revenue
- Prior leadership experience managing and developing a team
- Strong understanding of construction accounting, job costing, billing, payroll, and financial reporting
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working within ERP systems (Penta preferred; Plexxis, ViewPoint and similar ERPs OK)
- Strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- CPA and bilingual Spanish skills are a plus
