Oversee all aspects of hospital financial accounting, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lead the preparation of accurate financial statements, manage cash flow forecasting, and supervise the finance team.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

- Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in healthcare or non-profit accounting environments with a focus on governmental or public sector finance
- Proven expertise in SOX compliance, IFRS standards, GAAP principles, and regulatory reporting requirements
- Strong knowledge of financial software systems used within healthcare organizations
- Demonstrated ability to manage accounting teams effectively while fostering professional development
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and Excel data analysis for complex financial modeling and forecasting
- Experience with financial close processing, balance sheet reconciliation, account analysis, and account reconciliation procedures
- Excellent understanding of technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, and general ledger reconciliation
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly through written reports and presentations
- Strong analytical skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving within a fast-paced healthcare setting
