Job Description
We are seeking a Controller to join our finance team in Austin, TX. As the first in-house accounting hire, you will inherit a clean set of books and take complete ownership from day one. You will work closely with a fractional CFO and FP&A analyst to navigate an audit and build the foundation for our first formal audit.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of accounting experience
  • Prior public accounting experience (CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred)
  • Hands-on experience preparing for, or supporting a financial statement audit
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
  • Strong working knowledge of GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606) and equity compensation accounting
