Job Description
The Controller serves as a key financial leader, responsible for directing all accounting, financial reporting, and internal control activities. This position ensures accuracy and integrity of financial information, oversees accounting operations, manages compliance with regulatory and accounting standards, and provides strategic financial insights to support organizational decision-making.

Requirements

  • Lead preparation, analysis, and interpretation of financial statements
  • Oversee month-end/year-end close processes
  • Direct financial forecasting, projections, trend analyses
  • Evaluate financial impact of business initiatives
  • Monitor and manage cost control initiatives
  • Develop and present financial and operational reports
  • Lead financial audits, coordinate with external auditors
  • Drive process improvements in financial systems, workflows, and reporting
  • Collaborate with CFO and leadership to develop and execute financial strategies
  • Provide leadership oversight to ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting bodies
  • Provide strategic oversight and direction in the development of the capital budget
  • Oversee the review and approval of departmental policies
  • Participate in the administrator on-call rotation
  • Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to Accounting and Accounts Payable teams
  • Establish and maintain robust internal controls, accounting procedures, and documentation standards
  • Oversee staff performance management
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, Human Resources, and executive leadership
  • Represent Finance in internal and external meetings
  • Facilitate effective organizational communication
  • Champion a culture of engagement, accountability, and organizational excellence
  • Drive organizational process improvement strategies
  • Leverage data and analytics to guide strategic recommendations
  • Oversee and support leaders in the development of quality improvement and patient safety strategies
