Role OverviewWe're hiring a Controller to lead accounting excellence for our Naval Electronics Business Unit. This is a high-impact leadership role partnering closely with senior leadership across Leonardo DRS to strengthen compliance, sharpen insights, and drive disciplined execution in a regulated defense manufacturing environment.
What You Will Do
As the Controller, you will lead the accounting organization and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting across the Business Unit. You will oversee preparation of daily, monthly, annual, and periodic financial statements and required tax reporting.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 10+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
- Demonstrated expertise in government cost accounting in a regulated environment
- Thorough knowledge of accounting practices, procedures, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency with an ERP (Deltek/CostPoint), Power BI, and Microsoft Excel
