Controls & Diagnostics Systems Engineer P2 (Onsite)

The Controls & Diagnostics Systems (CDS) organization is seeking a highly motivated, team oriented, and results driven Engineer II to join the Engine System Software organization. The qualified candidate will be responsible for support control system integration across engine subsystems, develop and manage system and subsystem requirements, and apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler.

What You Will Do

Support control system integration across engine subsystems, develop and manage system and subsystem requirements, apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo Systems Modeler, and translate control system requirements into Model-Based Design (MBD) implementations in MATLAB Simulink for software development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• 2 years of engineering experience or an Advanced degree
• Familiarity with gas turbine engine operation, control, and system integration
• Experience in engine control system design and validation
• Familiarity with MBSE tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler
• Proficient in system/software design tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler and MATLAB Simulink
• Experience in engine control input/output electrical interfaces
• Experience in fuel and actuation architecture studies and system design
