Requirements

  • Determine the design and performance parameters for control system applications.
  • Determine system I/O maps and help specify hardware to meet existing design requirements.
  • Design automation, industrial, and critical environment controls system hardware and software.
  • Develop PLC and HMI software to meet the functional requirements of the system.
  • Support sales by visiting customer sites to support discussions related to the technical details of potential solutions.
  • Perform, oversee, assist, and sign off on final testing/commissioning of the completed systems.
  • Initiate final technical documentation for completed projects (As-Builts).
  • Troubleshoot and debug PLC hardware and HMI/SCADA software.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for other technicians, customers, and sales teams.
  • Maintain current technical, interpersonal, and communication skills through continuous education/development.
