Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, a 100% employee-owned ESOP, seeks a Controls Engineer in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in control system design, PLC programming, and instrumentation. They will work on automation and control system integration projects, act as technical lead, and manage smaller projects.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • Three to five years' experience in control systems, components, logic programming, instrumentation, and controls design
  • Experience with PLC systems (Allen Bradley, Schnieder Modicon, Siemens, GE-IP)
  • Strong inter-personnel skills and ability to communicate and work with team members, subcontractors, and clients
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Physical demands: seeing, color perception, hearing, clear speech, dexterity in hands, driving, lifting, climbing, and ability to mount and dismount equipment
