Role OverviewSupport the development, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing systems and controls to improve production performance across safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost metrics. Collaborate across functions to design, integrate, and sustain manufacturing technologies and control systems.
What You Will Do
Assist with machine safety assessments, lead and implement manufacturing projects, provide training, develop and optimize manufacturing lines, design and implement industrial control systems, oversee installation and commissioning, program and troubleshoot PLC systems, and create technical documentation.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a B.S.E.E. or M.S.E.E. degree, minimum 3 years of controls experience, and a high level of knowledge in PLC & HMI platforms, industrial robotics, and data bases.
Requirements
- B.S.E.E. or M.S.E.E. degree (Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Computer Science is preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of controls experience in a manufacturing environment
- PLC & HMI Platforms: Allen Bradley, Siemens, Mitsubishi; high level of knowledge is preferred
- Industrial Robotics: Fanuc, Kuka, Yaskawa Motoman, EPSON; basic to medium level of knowledge
- Data Base: Ignition, SQL; basic level of knowledge preferred
- Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming
- Extensive experience and understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes
- Electrical knowledge and analytical ability
- Must possess a high level of independent judgment, professionalism and integrity
