Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering, a 100% employee-owned ESOP, is seeking a Controls Engineer to deliver automation solutions for Life Science and Pharmaceutical projects. The ideal candidate will have technical proficiency in implementing automation solutions with PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DCS/Delta V platforms and strong leadership skills.

Requirements

  • Deliver innovative automation solutions and design standards
  • Conceptualize, detail, and implement control systems for industrial processes and machinery
  • Develop control system architecture, select components, and detail schematic diagrams and system documentation
  • Program controllers (PLC), programming process visualization (HMI/SCADA), and develop databases for archiving/displaying historical system data
  • Implement/commission the control system at the client's facility
  • Knowledge of controller programming languages such as Ladder, Sequential Function Chart, Structured Text, and others
  • Experience with industrial networking, fiber, wired and wireless systems using industrial protocols
  • Act as technical lead on projects and guide lower-level engineers and technicians
