Job Description
As a Controls Engineer Senior (PLC) at Robert Bosch GmbH, you will design, develop, and commission industrial and building control systems from concept through completion. This role includes determining system requirements, creating I/O maps, specifying hardware, and developing PLC and HMI software to meet functional and performance goals.

Requirements

  • BS (Computer/Mechanical) Engineering or equivalent experience/training
  • 5+ years of experience in mission critical or industrial environment
  • 5+ years of experience in HVAC and/or building automation
  • Knowledge of industrial and mobile PLC and HMI programming
  • Working knowledge and experience with Ignition SCADA HMI
  • Expert level knowledge of CodeSys (IEC 61131-3), RSLogix (AB), AVEVA (Wonderware) and CX-Programmer (Omron) programming languages
  • Knowledge and proficiency in system data storage and transfer
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Clean driving record
