Job Description
Pregis is hiring a Converting Production Supervisor for their 2nd shift team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of progressive experience and 2+ years of management experience. The role involves supervising production employees, evaluating performance, and ensuring a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • Interviewing, hiring, training, terminating, disciplining, and coaching employees
  • Monitoring employees' performance, conducting performance reviews, motivating team members, and creating strategies to boost engagement and productivity
  • Ensuring effective training of team members
  • Working in accordance with Pregis safety guidelines
  • Driving improvements and enhancements to plant safety programs
  • Ensuring plant housekeeping meets established standards
  • Leading successful implementation of continuous improvement projects to improve product quality and reduction of process scrap
  • Improving plant productivity through enhanced operating processes and workflow
  • Serving as a conduit for communication between employees and management and between departments
  • Working with Production Control (PC) to ensure production schedule is properly planned and customer expectations are met
  • Maintaining and approving employee schedules and time off requests
