Job Description
We are seeking a part-time Cook to join our team at Avamere Rehab of Hillsboro. The Cook will be responsible for serving meals that are palatable, appetizing in appearance, and in accordance with established portion control procedures. Experience in a hospital or nursing care facility is preferred, and the ability to cook from scratch and maintain confidentiality of resident care information is required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to cook from scratch
  • Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
  • Must have a Food Handler's Card
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Must be knowledgeable of food preparation procedures
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English fluently
  • Must have an active CPR/BLS certification
