Job Description
We are looking for a Lead Line Cook to oversee food preparation and ensure the highest standard of quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of previous line and fine dining experience, and a Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • At least two years of previous line and fine dining experience
  • Culinary degree or related hotel experience preferred
  • Good communication skills
  • Proven experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant
  • Strong understanding of advanced cooking techniques and fine dining plating standards
  • Team oriented with a proactive and problem-solving attitude
  • Able to cook meat to requested temperature from rare to well done
  • Knowledgeable of how to create all mother sauces, and stocks
  • Ability to filet fish, and intermediate butchery skills
  • Ability to operate kitchen equipment efficiently and safely
  • Strong organization and time – management skills
  • Advanced knife skills
  • Able to read and recreate recipes
  • Possess a food handler's card
