Job Description
We are looking for a Cook to join our team at Avamere Rehab of Eugene. The successful candidate will have experience cooking from scratch and working in a hospital, nursing care facility, or related medical facility. They will be responsible for serving meals, coordinating food service, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • Must be able to cook from scratch
  • Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility preferred
  • Must have a Food Handler’s Card
  • Must be able to cook a variety of foods in large quantities
  • Must be knowledgeable of food preparation procedures
  • Must maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
  • Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English fluently
  • Must have an active CPR/BLS certification
