Cook - Part-Time

As a Cook at Maine Veterans' Homes, you'll prepare nutritious and delicious meals for residents while maintaining high standards for quality and presentation. You'll work collaboratively with the dietary team to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in food service, including meal preparation and cooking
• Healthcare or institutional cooking experience preferred
• Knowledge of safe food handling and sanitation practices
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to understand and respond to residents' needs and inquiries in English
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
