Job Description
JOIN OUR TEAM! UNBEATABLE STATE BENEFITS, GREAT PERKS AND SO MUCH MORE! We are seeking a Cook 2 to work at the Ohio Department of Youth Services (DYS) Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correctional Facility. As a Cook, you will work under direction of the Food Service Manager to prepare, cook, and serve food. Other duties include providing work direction and training to youth workers and youth apprentices, monitoring service lines, and cleaning the work area.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic
  • 6 months of training or 6 months of experience in food preparation, sanitation, and storage, and use of food service equipment in an institutional, school, or restaurant setting
  • Examples of experience in food service
