Role OverviewJoin the Andaz Miami Beach team as a Cook 3 in a large commercial kitchen. The ideal candidate is a team player who prioritizes quality and consistency, takes pride in their work area, and is able to multi-task and communicate professionally. The role involves food preparation and presentation, cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment, and assisting with proper storage and preparation of all food items.
What You Will Do
Prepare and present food in one or more stations of a large commercial kitchen, follow standardized recipes, participate in cleaning of kitchen areas and equipment, and assist with food preparation in advance of food service hours.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience cooking in a commercial kitchen
- Prior experience with computer operations
- Ability to communicate professionally in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to multi-task and display ability to recognize that the team members’ and guests’ needs are always primary
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
