Job Description
Asbury is seeking a Cook to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, and a high school diploma or GED equivalency. The Cook will assist in preparing hot and cold food, follow recipes, and practice food sanitation and quality assurance.

Requirements

  • Assists in simple recipes for hot and cold food preparation
  • Batch cooks items ensuring optimal food quality
  • Follows 'counts' designated on production sheets as written
  • Informs Chef when a recipe or food production sheet needs to be modified and informs Chef of potential shortages
  • Instructs attendants in regard to menu offerings and/or menu changes
  • Practices standards of food sanitation, infection control, and quality assurance
