Role OverviewThis position is responsible for independently preparing meals and managing food production. The role supports the Sous or Executive Chef in maintaining high quality of food and safety standards. The team member will serve and learn from some of the most knowledgeable seniors, making a difference in the lives of those they serve daily.
What You Will Do
Prepare and cook a variety of meals for residents with attention to quality and presentation, alter or adapt recipes to accommodate special dining needs, and ensure attractive presentation of food on the plate before serving.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant settings, strong knowledge of food safety and dietary guidelines, and the ability to promote teamwork in providing services to residents.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2+ years of cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety and dietary guidelines
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
