We are seeking a Cook to join our team at THE COTTAGES OF CARMEL, a premier senior living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for crafting exceptional cuisine in our state-of-the-art kitchens, using high-quality local ingredients and focusing on seasonal menus. The Cook will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with residents and guests, and building personal connections. The ideal candidate will be a culinary rock star with a strong desire to learn and grow with us.

What You Will Do

The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment, and working collaboratively with the culinary team to create exceptional food experiences. The successful candidate will also be expected to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff, execute flawless dishes in a timely manner, and be passionate about service to others.

Requirements

• Line cook experience in a 'Full Scratch Kitchen or Restaurant'
• 2 to 5 years experience on a fast-paced line, or working a prep cook line station
• Ability to execute flawless dishes in a timely manner
• Ability to communicate with a friendly demeanor to all staff
• Passionate about service to others and creating exceptional food experiences
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
