Cook

The Cook will be responsible for preparing and serving meals according to the menu, monitoring methods of food handling, preparation, meal service, and equipment cleaning. Safely and efficiently provides nutritionally appropriate food.

What You Will Do

Prepares meal items according to planned menus and standardized recipes, reviews menus and resident census information, prepares food according to safe food handling guidelines, and maintains standards for food preparation and quality of food service.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience as a cook in a large-scale cooking operation and one year of work experience in long-term care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency
