Role OverviewThe Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) serves some of Orange County's most vulnerable student populations and provides support and mandated fiscal oversight to 28 school districts serving more than 600 schools and approximately 475,000 students. OCDE administers an array of programs and services that are critical to the operations of local school districts and community colleges.
What You Will Do
Provide direct instruction to students through OCDE's own alternative and special education programs, and support career and technical education.

The ideal candidate will have experience in educational administration, behavior management, and a valid California credential authorizing instruction or service in a public school program.
Requirements
- Master's degree in education, education administration, behavior management, or a related field
- Five (5) years of educational experience, including two (2) years of administrative service in a public-school setting
- Valid California credential authorizing instruction or service in a public school program
- Administrative Services Credential must be obtained within 5 years of hire
