Job Description
The Coordinator of Music Ministry directs and develops the liturgical music life of the parish, ensuring that all music supports the sacred liturgy and reflects the teachings and traditions of the Catholic Church.
Requirements
Plan and coordinate music for all weekend Masses, Holy Days, and special celebrations
Recruit, train, and support cantors, accompanists, and choir members
Direct and schedule rehearsals for parish choirs
Foster active congregational participation through well-prepared and prayerful music
Communicate regularly with choir members regarding schedules, music, and parish events
Maintain and organize the parish music library, including copyright compliance and reporting
Assist in managing the music ministry budget, including purchasing music and supplies with approval
