Job Description
The Coremaker sets up and makes cores under general supervision, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Makes cores following established procedures
  • Receives job orders
  • Cuts metal wires using band saw
  • Cuts rebar using cut-off saw
  • Manually bends rebar using a wall-mounted fixture
  • Starts ovens and ensures appropriate temperature for coremaking work
  • Bakes cores at various temperatures specified in instructions
  • Cleans work areas
  • Returns completed orders to production control
