Role OverviewThe Corp Transportation Coord will work in a busy environment, possessing solid communication skills, being detail-oriented and very organized. They will execute all truck scheduling, deliveries, pickups, and incoming freight, ensuring proper allocation of trucking resources and most efficient and cost-effective transportation decisions.
What You Will Do
The Corp Transportation Coord will communicate effectively with Sales and Production, fulfill all sales/shipping requirements, process freight claims, and assist in processing outbound transfers for all warehouses. They will also schedule PO's, trucks, and utilize TMS systems for automation of truck scheduling and tracking shipments.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Corp Transportation Coord will participate in business reviews with vendor partners, participate in the Invoicing review process, and directly support the development and tracking of department Key Performance Indicators. They will also build relationships at all levels, manage conflict effectively, and practice early intervention to resolve issues early.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 – 2 years related transportation experience
- Experience with transportation management systems
