Role Overview

The Corporate Paralegal provides comprehensive legal and administrative support to the General Counsel and the organization's legal functions. This role plays a critical role in supporting the organization's day-to-day legal needs, including securities compliance, facilitating real estate and lending transactions, and ensuring compliance with all applicable state and federal law.

What You Will Do

The Corporate Paralegal will prepare and file documents required by multiple state securities commissions, conduct legal research and analysis, draft and review contracts, and assist with mergers and acquisitions, real estate closings, and lending transactions.

Requirements

  • Paralegal certification from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in securities, real estate, and/or lending transactions
  • Strong understanding of securities regulations or real estate and lending practices
  • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in legal research tools and office technology
