Role OverviewThe Daimler Truck Specialty Vehicles (DTSV) Corporate Quality Engineering Leader supports the deployment, execution, and continuous improvement of the DTSV Quality Management System (QMS). This role applies DTSV corporate quality standards, drives structured problem solving, and translates customer, field, and warranty data into actionable engineering and operational improvements under the direction of the DTSV Corporate Quality Manager.
What You Will Do
Support the execution of the corporate quality strategy aligned with DTNA & DTSV standards and initiatives. Apply and maintain DTSV corporate quality policies, standards, and governance frameworks. Maintain enterprise quality KPI’s, dashboards, and reporting for leadership.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, structured problem solving (FRACAS, 8D, RCA), APQP/PPAP fundamentals, and quality systems architecture. Demonstrated success leading cross functional- initiatives and influencing without direct authority.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or related field.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in quality engineering in automotive, commercial vehicles, or similar industries.
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
